Scare Up Some Fun at Halloween Horror Nights 2024

It’s baaaaackkkk...

This year, Halloween Horror Nights, or HHN as it’s affectionately abbreviated, is back for another year of satisfying scares.

Here’s all the dreadful details about everything you can expect from HHN 2024.

Ten Terrifying Houses

When it comes to haunted houses, they don’t get much better than HHN. Every year, Universal announces ten brand new houses inspired by some of the biggest names in horror.

As always, you can expect jump scares, special effects, gore, monsters, and plenty of screams. Here’s your sneak peek at the 2024 HHN Houses.

A Quiet Place

To make it out of this house alive, you’ll need to stay deadly silent. Even the smallest sound could attract the attention of monstrous creatures who are out to kill. Inspired by the post-apocalyptic world from the films “A Quiet Place” and “A Quiet Place: Part II,” this House will have you stifling screams in the face of fear.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire

Join the Ghostbusters team as they fight to save the world from a second ice age. Garraka, a new specter, has escaped and is dead set on freezing you in your tracks. An army of ice-spear-throwing ghosts is out to get you, and you’ll need to keep a cool head to escape this bone-chilling House.

Insidious: The Further

Inspired by the supernatural horror “Insidious” Franchise, this house invites guests to travel through paranormal dimensions of tortured souls and demonic entities. You’ll be transported into “The Further” where demons and tormented spirits lurk. Step through the iconic red door where you’ll come face-to-face with the Red-Faced Demon, who is waiting to lure you into his lair.

Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines

This one’s for the ghouls. Eternal Bloodlines is an all-female House that assembles some of the scariest Universal Monsters. Saskia Van Helsing, famous for killing Count Dracula by driving a stake through his heart, is now being hunted by his bloodthirsty daughter, Countess Marya, who is out to seek revenge. You’ll also encounter classic Universal monsters like the Bride of Frankenstein, Anck-Su-Namun, and the She-Wolf, all of whom are out for blood.

Monstruous: The Monsters of Latin America

Flesh-eating, blood-sucking, and bone-ripping monsters of Latin American legend and lore come to life in this gruesome House. With the cloaked and masked La Muerte as your guide, you never know where your journey into darkness will lead you.

Slaughter Sinema 2

B-movie horror films can be a sinfully guilty pleasure. At the Carey Drive-in, you can expect plenty of guts, gore, and gruesome movie plots that will have you begging for the credits to roll.

The Museum: Deadly Exhibits

The Rotting Stone is the newest exhibit in the local folklore museum. When an evil spirit escapes the confine of the exhibit, suddenly everything – and everyone – in its path begins to rot and decay.

Major Sweets Candy Factory

Not all kid-friendly tours of a candy factory have a happy ending. You’ll be chaperoning a field trip to Major Sweets Candy Factory (lucky you!) But when free samples start turning the kids into candy-coated killers, you’ll be begging for a sweet escape.

Goblin’s Feast

You’re invited to dinner, but the twist is that you’re on the menu. Escape hordes of bloodthirsty goblins, orcs, hobgoblins, and witches before you become the main course.

Triplets of Terror

You’re invited to a birthday bash! The Barmy triplets are celebrating their birthday with gruesome recreations of their family’s murders. This gory gathering is unlike any birthday celebration you’ve ever attended in your short, precious life.

Five Frightful Scare Zones

If you think you’re safe from scares when you’re out of the Houses, you’re dead wrong.

Throughout the park are Scare Zones, themed areas with plenty of heebie jeebies and blood curdling screams in store. You may find yourself interacting with (or running from) costumed and masked scare actors prowling the streets of Universal Studios in search of a good fright.

This year’s Scare Zones include Torture Faire, a renaissance faire with a reputation for medieval torture, and Swamp of the Undead, which transports you to the backwaters of Louisiana where zombies lurk just beneath the water’s surface.

More Tricks and Treats Than Ever Before

Sure, HHN is all about the scares, but when you need a break, there are plenty of ways to make the most of your experience.

Sit back and enjoy a show with death-defying stunts and tricks. You won’t believe your eyes in this spectacle-filled performance that will have you gasping with surprise and awe.

During HHN, you can enjoy a variety of specialty foods and beverages with sinister themes and flavors that are to die for. Don’t forget to shop event-exclusive merch to commemorate making it out of HHN 33 alive.

Plus, All the Universal Studios Entertainment You Love

If you need a break from the spooks and scares, take a break and enjoy some of the classic Universal Studios Florida rides and attractions open year-round.

You can find your thrills riding Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit or Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts, often without long lines (since most people will be waiting in line for HHN Houses.)

Your HHN ticket is your admission to Universal Studios Florida, after darkness descends.
