National Waffle Week is celebrated annually during the first week of September, and we’ve curated a list of the best spots around Orlando to celebrate accordingly. Hint: One of them is right under your nose at your favorite Disney Good Neighbor Hotel! Whether you like them sweet or savory, here’s where to find the best waffles in Orlando.

@ The Diner

Breakfast at this spot makes you feel right at home, and the waffles are otherworldly. @ The Diner is a family-owned breakfast chain based in Orlando that excels in crafting the art of a home-cooked breakfast.

The waffle variety at @ The Diner is practically endless. Create your own breakfast combo and dress your waffle in warm, melted milk chocolate, powdered sugar, and sweet strawberries topped with whipped cream.

If you crave more egg with your waffles, order “The Bennyfle,” which serves you savory poached eggs, bacon, and ham over a crispy waffle drizzled in hollandaise sauce.

Those who love a savory and sweet combo will enjoy Mama’s Chicken and Waffle at @ The Diner. This dish comes with two, crispy chicken waffle sliders drizzled in honey syrup and sprinkled with powdered sugar.

@ The Diner takes waffles to a new level with its “W@ffle Tacos.” The street waffle taco uses a crispy waffle as the shell and fills it with pork or chicken carnitas, scrambled eggs, pepperjack, pico de gallo, and a drizzle of cilantro sauce. The pollo loco waffle taco is made with fried chicken doused in sausage gravy and garnished with bacon.

There’s no such thing as too many waffles at this restaurant. @ The Diner offers a range of Belgian waffles to choose from. You can get the Florida fruity, chocolate chip, sweet and salty, Boston cream, or Nutella, banana, and strawberry waffles.

Visit locations at Lake Cay on Universal Boulevard, Grand Oaks Village in Dr. Phillips, or its newest location in Lake Buena Vista on Apopka Vineland Road.

Another Broken Egg Cafe

This restaurant’s namesake might sound like it’s all about eggs, but its waffle options are not to be overlooked. Another Broken Egg Cafe is an American breakfast chain that delivers Southern-inspired dishes filled with incredible tastes.

Spend National Waffle Week trying this restaurant’s rich chicken and waffles or Belgian waffles. This spot gets creative with its sweet cookie dough Belgian waffle that’s topped with sugary cookie dough bites, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and powdered sugar.

Find locations around greater Orlando on Semoran Boulevard, Orlando Avenue in Winter Park, and Alafaya Trail in Oviedo.

Hash House A Go Go

We’ve shown you Southern-style breakfast fares, but how about a little recognition for the Midwest? Hash House A Go Go puts a twist on fresh farm foods and has a handful of tasty waffles to try for National Waffle Week.

When you’re in the mood for something sweet, this restaurant’s vanilla, blueberry lemon glaze, and churro waffles are sure to feed your cravings. If you’re looking for something savory, the bacon waffle is calling your name.

Hash House A Go Go’s Orlando location sits on International Drive, and there’s also one in Winter Garden on Hartzog Road.

The Dolly Llama

Dubbed the “waffle master,” The Dolly Llama is a dessert shop that tests the boundaries of what you can do with a waffle. Its express menu offers four varieties of the signature OG Liege waffle: Nutella strawberries, maple syrup Speculoos crumbs, chocolate syrup banana, and peanut butter cinnamon toast crunch.
